The Apartment overlooks the large swimming pool and garden area, with views of Takiab Hill (Chopstick-mountain), the local fishing village, and the coastline. The property is fully furnished, with king-size beds in both bedrooms and en-suite shower and wc. It has a flat-screen TV (includes 2 English channels and HBO Movie Channel), DVD, Harman/Kardon speaker system with IPod station, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, espresso-machine, hot water, high speed internet. It is fully air-conditioned throughout. A large open-plan area contains the lounge, kitchen and dining areas (seats 12p). One of the bedrooms, with TV and DVD, en-suite bath-room and separate seating area, can be closed of from the rest of the apartment. There is a large swimming-pool, restaurant facilities for lunch, small fitness area and 24-hr security. The pool and garden area are private and beautifully maintained. A large balcony area has beautiful views of beaches, the fishing harbor / village and Khao Takiab (chop-stick mountain) hill. The apartment is very clean and spacious, and is maintained weekly by the staff of Jamchuree. All services are available from reception, including laundry service. Bed-linen and towels provided. Private guide available in the house. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Hua Hin town is 5 km away and there is a regular local songthaew-bus transport service between Hua Hin and Takiab. The local bus station is 5 minutes away, and services into Hua Hin Town runs every 15 minutes between 8 am-9pm. Local taxis and “tuk-tuk”s available around the corner of the building. Activities and Attractions From its beginnings as a small fishing village near the residence of the King of Thailand, the town of Hua Hin has developed into an up market Tourist area, but yet retains its atmosphere of peace, tranquility and warm Thai hospitality. Hua Hin has a large Night-Market, a good shopping centre, a brand-new shopping mall “Market Village”, and many souvenir shops and restaurants. The Night Market is very famous for souvenirs and food, visited by millions of tourists for over half a century. It is open 7 days a week from 5:00 pm until midnight. The two long white sandy beaches are separated by Takiab Hill. The Hill is inhabited by a colony of monkeys. A road leads to the top, where a temple is situated, with many observation areas and view points. Around Takiab area, there are many good restaurants serving seafood, with probably the best and most scenic restaurants in Hua Hin only 100mtrs away! Hua Hin beach runs from a rocky headland, which separates it from a tiny fishing pier, and gently curves for some 3 kilometers to the south where the Giant Golden Buddha monument is located at the base of Takiab Hill. The beach still keeps its tranquil atmosphere and many of the world's top luxury Hotels, such as Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott, are located along this beach. The famous Hotel Sofitel, formerly the Hua Hin Railway Hotel is a magnificent two-storey colonial-style hotel at the north end of Hua Hin beach. The Chiva-Som International Health Resort is a 5-star Spa Resort close by. Khao Takiab beach, also 3 kilometers long, is at the southern end of Takiab Hill, 5 min by foot. This is an even quieter beach than Hua Hin, and equally pretty. Horse riding is available along both beaches, and several water sports facilities on Takiab beach.
